FIESTA DAYS

Coming up soon is Spanish Forks "Fiesta Days". they Will be starting of with the local "Movie Night" on JULY 14.  This year the movie is "The Sandlot". It is at the local sports park starting at perhaps 9:00 or later depending on how dark it gets. For details click here. but there is more!
Coming up on July 16,21 and 24 is the "Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum Tour at 400 North Main Street. On July 16 they will be open from 10:30 A.M. to 1:3o P.M. on July 21 it is open from 1:00-4:00 P.M. On July 24 it will be open from as soon as the Grand Parade is over to 5:00 P.M.

On July 18 there is the flag Retirement Ceremony located at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds at 7:30 P.M.  Scout Troops MAY  participate but MUST BE IN FULL UNIFORM TO PARTICIPATE. If you have a flag that needs to be retired you can drop it off on 40 South Main Street which is the Spanish Fork City Offices or you can drop them off at the Parks and Recreation Offices. Flags should be turned in at least 1/2 hour before the ceremony.

 On the 19 there are several events. the first one we are going to list is the "Baby Contest". It will be from 3:30-6:30 P.M. Babies that are from Just Born to 36 months old will be allowed to enter the contest. There is a $10.00 Pre-Registration entry fee. The Pre-Registration deadline is July 18 at 3:00 P.M. Registration forms may be brought or mailed to 775 North Main Spanish Fork, Utah (84660). If you do not complete the Pre-Registration forum before the deadline you will only be allowed to enter on the day of the contest. Registration fee on the day of the contest is $15.00. If you are not regestering until the day of the contest please DO NOT arivve before 5:50 P.M.
PRIZES
Each participant will receive a 8x10 portrait simply for participating. Winners will be announced on the library stage on the east side of the library on July 24 at 11:00 A.M. Pictures will be available for pickup at this time. if you don't pick them up then you can pick them up at the city's Parks and Recreation offices.

_________________________________________________________________________________ The second event on July 19 we are going to list is the "My Fair Lady" performance at the Spanish Fork High School Auditorium at 99 North and 300 West. the times and dates it will be playing are: July 19, 20, 21, 23, 26, and 27 at 7:00 P.M. on July 28 there are two performances. one at 1:00 P.M. and The Other at 7:00 P.M.

Also on July 19 is the Western Heritage Parade. It is at 7:00 P.M. from 900 North to the Fairgrounds, and will be traveling down Main Street.
