How to get around bad traffic

With Gasoline prices going up it is getting expensive to take a drive.
Not only that but during "rush hour" on the freeways, it doesn't matter if the speed limit is 55 mph or 70 mph because you end up going about 0-10 mph, yet there are ways to go fast even when traffic is completely stopped. One of those ways is using the amazing invention THE BIKE.
Even though they can't easily go the 55, 60, 70 or 80 mph speed limit on freeways - In fact in most places it is illegal to ride a bike on the freeway - when traffic is stopped or going slow or you are not going far Bikes are what is best to use. There is also the other option of Walking if your destination is within "Walking Distance" a good maximum walking distance is 0.4 miles, with the exception of a walk, or a hike. the good maximum distance for a hike is 20 miles round trip and the good minimum distance for a hike is 0.4 miles round trip. Of course there is a different Maximum and Minimum for everyone. And than there is the the last option listed THE SCOOTER.  The  scooter is great for short distance travel as well as just riding it around for fun. although on bikes and scooters it's a bit of a requirement to have a helmet the helmet is just there to keep you safe. There is another reason to bike, scooter, and walk. when you drive a gasoline powered vehicle the vehicle emits a gas known as CO2. This gas is known as a "Greenhouse Gas". a "Greenhouse Gas" is a gas that rises up into the atmosphere and than traps the heat, therefore letting letting sunlight in to heat up the surface but when the heat rises up to try and get out the greenhouse gases don't let the heat out, therefore creating a warmer climate.
