More Fires x2 - Water Conservation

Because of a fire last night that went across ,Interstate 15, it was closed .
In addition to the "Wood Hollow Fire" , "Church Camp Fire" and "Seeley Fire" there are several more.
They are the "Clay Springs Fire", the "Pole Creek Fire" and the "New Harmony Fire". With so many fires in Utah started already it is starting to look like fireworks are going to be a bit of a problem.  With so many dry weeds and other vegetation out there it is very easy for fires to start and get out of control. Not to mention the fact that because of a mostly dry winter not only was there not much snow in most areas for kids to play with, but because Utah gets the majority of its water from snow-melt and precipitation Utah is starting to run a bit low on its water supply. Some areas have started rationing water for lawns. but its not just about lawns, but because Utah is running low on water there is not that much water left for fighting fires. This is why it is very important to conserve water. several ways you can conserve water are: 1. take showers instead of baths  2. take short showers 3. turn off the water when you brush your teeth 4. wash small amounts of dishes by hand instead of using the dishwasher 5. do small loads of laundry by hand instead of using the washing machine 6. only run the dishwasher when it is full
7. only run the washing machine when full 8. use drip-hoses instead of sprinklers [sprinklers lose water through evaporation] . Remember to try to conserve water and NOT start fires. Thanks!
